The closer the blockage or damage is to an access point, the quicker it is to clear. Issues further along the line, or affecting several drains, can take longer and may cost more.
Simple blockages can often be cleared with basic tools. Heavier problems, such as root ingress or deep manholes, may need high-pressure jetting or specialist equipment, which can affect the price.
If the drains are cracked, collapsed or badly worn, we may recommend repairs or lining rather than repeated unblocking. We will always explain the options and costs before you decide.
Most work is carried out at our standard rates. Out-of-hours emergency call-outs, or visits at specific times for businesses, may be priced differently — we confirm this in advance.
