Collapsed Gully and Damaged Pipe Replaced on Rome Avenue, Burnley
A slow-draining gully on Rome Avenue looked like a small job, until our engineer flushed it through and saw clay coming back in the water. That's never a good sign.
Removing the defective gully showed the bottom had completely collapsed. A CCTV inspection of the line then found the pipe damaged further downstream too.
We removed the defective pipework and replaced it with new, water tested and CCTV'd the finished run to prove it was flowing correctly, then reinstated the area. The tenant was very happy with the works carried out.
