Buried Manhole Found and Blocked Drain Cleared on Heckenhurst Avenue, Burnley
A blocked drain at a Burnley home, and the customer could only remember a manhole being somewhere in the grass. CCTV from the gully confirmed the carrier line was blocked.
We traced the line, located the manhole and dug it out, then jetted downstream to clear the blockage. The camera also showed the neighbour's manhole full of tissue, so with their agreement we washed that down as well and jetted both ways.
We put the turf back and cleaned up before leaving.
