Blocked Toilet and Severe Backfall Found on Finsley View, Briercliffe
A blocked toilet in Briercliffe. The manhole at the side of the property was holding water, so we jetted from there rather than set up on the road, as it is a busy bus turning area.
Jetting cleared the line both ways. The CCTV then showed the real problem: severe backfall in the pipe, a dip that holds water and keeps causing blockages. A dye test from the toilet came through fine, but the line will block again until the pipe itself is sorted.
It has been reported to the water company before and needs reporting again, so we left the tenant the details and advice.
