Foreign Object Jetted Out of a Blocked Drain on Eliza Street, Burnley
A blocked drain on Eliza Street would not clear from the gully, so our engineer changed approach and jetted from the soil pipe to shift the blockage and bring back the cause: a foreign object that had wedged itself in the line.
With the line flowing, a CCTV inspection found a damaged pipe causing severe displacement, which is why the object caught where it did.
The affected area was washed down and the customer got the survey findings and a straight recommendation: the line runs for now, but the damaged section needs excavating to stop it happening again.
