Blocked Toilet Traced to a Dropped Rest Bend on Browsholme Avenue, Burnley
A blocked toilet that had come back after earlier excavation work on a collapsed drain. We jetted 15 metres of line to clear the blockage, then ran CCTV.
The camera showed a defect in the pipe 14 metres downstream, in a neighbouring garden. That one needs reporting to the water company. Back inside the property, a second CCTV run found a rest bend that had dropped, creating a snag point where the blockage kept forming.
The fix is to excavate and replace the bend. We booked the dig for first thing the next morning.
